Ugandan Coffee

When you enjoy a cup of rich flavorful coffee during fellowship time at Christchurch on Sunday mornings you can do so knowing that the proceeds from the purchase of the coffee are going to help our Anglican brothers and sisters in Uganda. 


Ugandan Coffee

Ugandan Gold coffee is grown in Wambabya, Uganda. The coffee farm employs 20 full-time and 100 seasonal Ugandan workers, including two managers. 

In addition to the benefit of providing regular employment in the area, revenues from the sale of this coffee provide school fees for orphans, malaria prevention, health care iniitiatives, and new economic development.

By controlling all phases of the supply chain, Ugandan Gold Premium Coffee is not at the mercy of the market place and the middleman, and returns maximum revenue to the growers. We are responsible for the shipping, packaging, marketing and sales efforts. Because of the structure of this model, 100% of the profits are returned to to the local community in Uganda.


Because in this region:
- One out of every five children will die before their fifth birthday because of AIDS, malaria, or malnutrition.
- The average wage is less than $1 per day
- Less than 1% of the homes have electricity
- Less than 1% of the people have access to clean water
- Life expectancy is just 42 years
- AIDS has orphaned one out of every 22 children

And because the sale of Ugandan Gold Coffee will make a difference.
